I'm facing a bit of an issue with my new Scorpio-N, and I'm hoping someone can shed some light on it. I've noticed some unusual steering and suspension behavior, and I'm not sure if it's normal or a cause for concern.

The Problem:

  1. Steering: I've noticed a slight vibration through the steering wheel at certain speeds, especially on rough roads. It feels like there's a bit of play or looseness in the steering.
  2. Suspension: The suspension seems a bit stiff, and I can feel every bump and undulation on the road. It's not unbearable, but it's definitely noticeable.

Potential Causes:

I'm wondering if it could be an alignment issue, or maybe there's something wrong with the suspension setup. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with their Scorpio-N?

Seeking Solutions:

I'm planning to take it to the service center soon, but I wanted to see if anyone has encountered similar issues and found a solution. Any advice or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated.

Let's discuss this further and see if we can find a solution together.

I know that feeling. My Scorpio-N Z8L AT also exhibited some steering stiffness and a slightly harsher-than-expected ride over bad patches. Turned out it was a combination of factors.

First, check your tire pressure. It should be aligned with the manufacturer's recommendations. Underinflated or overinflated tires can significantly impact ride comfort and steering feel.

Second, I noticed a marked improvement after getting a wheel alignment done. It addressed the slight pull to one side and improved overall stability.

Lastly, the suspension on the Scorpio-N can be on the firmer side for better handling, but it does come at the cost of a slightly harsher ride on bad roads. You could explore aftermarket suspension options like softer springs or dampers, but that's a more involved process.

I'd recommend getting a thorough check-up done at the service center, including wheel alignment and suspension inspection. They can pinpoint the exact issue and suggest the best course of action.

Let me know if this helps!

Hey there, I've been facing a similar issue with my Scorpio-N. The steering vibration started after hitting a pretty bad pothole. I got it checked at the service center, and they mentioned it could be an alignment issue or possibly a damaged tie-rod end. They've suggested getting a wheel alignment done first and then checking if the vibration persists. If it does, they'll need to inspect the steering components further.

I had a similar experience with my Scorpio-N. The steering felt a bit off after a long drive on uneven roads. I got the suspension checked, and it turned out one of the shock absorbers was slightly leaking. Replacing it resolved the issue. Also, ensure your tires are properly inflated as incorrect tire pressure can also affect steering and ride comfort.

It's always a good idea to get a thorough check-up done at the service center to rule out any major issues.
