I've been facing an annoying issue with my Scorpio Classic lately. I've noticed a small oil leak from the engine area. It's not a gushing leak, but there's a noticeable oil spot on the garage floor every morning.

I've taken it to the service center twice, but they haven't been able to pinpoint the exact source of the leak. They've replaced some gaskets and seals, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue with their Scorpio Classic? Any suggestions on what it could be or where to look for the leak?

Oil leaks can be frustrating, especially on a relatively new vehicle. I've faced a similar issue with my Scorpio Classic. It turned out to be a faulty oil seal.

I'd suggest getting a second opinion from a trusted mechanic. They might be able to pinpoint the exact source of the leak with a more thorough inspection.

Also, check for any visible signs of oil on the engine and gearbox. This might give you a clue about the potential source of the leak.

Keep us updated on the issue and the solution you find.

I had a similar issue with my Scorpio Classic. It turned out to be a faulty oil seal around the crankshaft. The leak wasn't significant, but it was enough to leave those annoying oil spots. Got it fixed at the dealership, and it hasn't returned since. 😣

Check the oil sump gasket as well. I had a slow leak from there in my Scorpio. It's a relatively easy fix, and it solved the problem. Also, ensure the oil drain plug is tightened properly. A loose plug can cause oil seepage.

If you've changed the oil recently, there's a possibility that the mechanic might have overfilled the engine. Excess oil can find its way out through seals and gaskets. Check the oil level using the dipstick. It should be between the minimum and maximum marks.
