Need some serious help with my brand new Scorpio-N (Z8L Diesel, got it just last month). Seems the electricals are playing some crazy games on me!

Touchscreen problem 😫 : My fancy touchscreen infotainment system is acting up too. Sometimes it just freezes in the middle of a song or while I'm using the map. Other times, it just restarts itself all of a sudden. Super irritating, especially when I need the map for new places.

Bluetooth Bhoot 😥 : Connecting my phone via Bluetooth used to be a breeze, but now it's become a fight. Sometimes it connects fine, other times it pretends my phone doesn't even exist. And even when it does connect, the calls keep cutting out - super frustrating when you're talking important!

Tried restarting the system a couple of times, but these problems keep coming back. Getting a bit worried now. Anyone else facing similar issues with their Scorpio-N electronics? Any advice or suggestions would be a lifesaver! Service center is next, but hoping there's a quick fix first.

you're not alone! Many new car owners face similar electronic hiccups. The important thing is to get it checked out by the service center and get your Scorpio-N back to its full glory.

In the meantime, here are a couple of things you can try:

Soft Reset: Try resetting the infotainment system by holding down the power button for about 10 seconds. This might clear any temporary glitches.

Check Connections: Make sure all the cables for the infotainment system are properly connected. Sometimes a loose connection can cause these kinds of issues.

I hope it helps 🤔

Sometimes, these electronic issues can be caused by software glitches. The service center can check for any updates or reinstall the software if needed.

your Scorpio-N should be under warranty, so getting these issues fixed shouldn't cost you anything! Make sure to mention all the problems you're facing to the service advisor.

Not a DIY Fix: While we might be tempted to try some quick fixes at home, these electronic systems are complex. Messing around with them could potentially worsen the problem. It's best to leave it to the professionals.

Record the Issue (if possible): If the infotainment system freezes or the Bluetooth disconnects, try recording it on your phone (if safe). This visual evidence can be helpful for the service center to understand the problem.

Update Software (if available): Some car manufacturers allow software updates over the air (OTA). Check your owner's manual or Mahindra's website to see if there are any available updates for your Scorpio-N's infotainment system. However, proceed with caution as an incorrect update could worsen the problem.

Carry a Phone Charger: If the Bluetooth connection is unstable, having a car charger handy can ensure your phone stays powered for calls and navigation.
Explore Alternative Navigation: While the infotainment system is being repaired, consider using a mobile navigation app like Google Maps or Waze on your phone.

Document Everything:
Keep a record of your service visits and any repairs done. This documentation will be helpful if the issues persist.
